At Saint Philip Catholic Primary School, we are proud that we help our pupils and staff to achieve in all areas of the curriculum and provide opportunities for our pupils within our school community.
Music Mark School Award
We were delighted to be nominated to become a 2020/21 Music Mark School due to our commitment to music across the curriculum.
At St Philip's, we place a high focus on the importance of the arts and our children are provided with many opportunities to develop and apply their musical talents.
As well as their curriculum lessons, our children receieve opportunities to learn to play the violin, perform in the Lord Mayor's show, be part of the St Philip's choir and join with the other schools in the Hagley Pyramid to take part in the yearly concert at Birmingham Town Hall.

School Games Gold Award
St. Philip’s have received the Gold award mark for our commitment to the competition across their school and into the community. Schools in England are able to assess themselves across bronze, silver and gold levels. St. Philip's are very proud to be awarded the Sainsbury’s School Games Gold accreditation in recognition of continuing commitment to extra-curricular activities, interschool sport and intra-school competitions as well as a wide variety of sports.
Basic Skills Quality Mark
This award recognises the high standards to teaching and learning at our school in Maths, Literacy and ICT that was renewed in Spring 2014.
Platinum Healthy School Award
We work hard to promote and encourage healthy eating, physical activity, personal safety and well-being amongst our pupils.
This award is for achieving excellence in our provision as a healthy school.
Sustainable School Award
We received this award for our commitment to looking after the environment and thinking carefully about the resources that we use.
Tipton Litterwatch Award
Our school has been awarded the prestigious Tipton Litter Watch award. The children worked hard to achieve this special award.
School Council Speaker Award
The School Council meets regularly to discuss and make improvements to our school. This awards celebrated and recognized the achievements of our school council in the work they did towards the child friendly anti-bullying policy and the school playground improvements they made.
