Our school was last inspected by Ofsted in May 2018 when we were judged to continue to be a good school.

  • Teacher’s use their secure subject knowledge to plan meaningful activities that contribute well to pupils’ progress and personal development.
  • Pupils make good gains in their learning and typically achieve well over time.
  • Pupils enjoy coming to school because teachers help them to see a real purpose for their learning. The behave very well in lessons and work hard.
  • Pupils believe that school is a safe place because they have adults that care about them.

Religious Education Inspection

St. Philip's was inspected as part of the Diocesan Section 48 inspection in November 2018 and we were delighted that our school was judged to be a very good Catholic school with an outstanding Catholic life.
