St Catherine of Siena MAC Year 6 Confirmation Retreat

Our Year 6 children joined together with the other Year 6 children within the St Catherine of Siena MAC for a day of prayer and reflection in preparation for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. The retreat day was led by Dan Callow and Emily Jordan from the brilliant One Life Music who led us in song and prayer through ‘The Gifts of the Spirit’ which celebrates the spirit which is rooted in the very essence of Confirmation.

One child commented, ” Today was amazing, I felt so close to Jesus.”

League Cup Football

Well done to our Year 6 boys who performed so well during the league cup tournament on Monday at West Bromwich Albion’s dome facility.

The boys played with skill and sportsmanship throughout the tournament and were a credit to our school.

Shanaze Reade WOW visit to school

Our children were delighted to be visited by Shanaze Reade (BMX cycling World Champion 🥇) today to celebrate our involvement in the WoW (Walk once a Week) challenge and to tell us about her incredible career so far.
As ever, our children did us proud and asked some thoughtful questions and loved meeting Shanaze (and Strider the mascot!).

Celebrating the Epiphany

On Thursday, we were joined by Father Damian to celebrate the Epiphany during our weekly school Mass.

We learnt how we too can be like the Wisemen and trust in our faith, and worship our Lord Jesus throughout our lives.
